Beaucoup de subtilité, de pluralité dans le bouquet de Clos Floridène avec des nuances de pamplemousse, de mandarines et de citronnelle… donc un focus sur la fraîcheur, mais également la profondeur. Parfaitement équilibré, dès l'attaque, le vin cumule salinité, richesse et sapidité. Il s'en retrouve complexe, abouti et structuré. Belle persistance aromatique. Un vin délicieux, convaincant, à savourer dans sa jeunesse tout en gardant quelques bouteilles. Il sera intéressant de le suivre dans son évolution. Belle réussite. 2026-2038 93/100

Bright plum colour, with vibrant red fruit character, classically fresh acidities for the appellation, balanced and sappy. Tannins a little rustic, but the arrival of sweet damson fruit keeps this as an unfussy early drinker. A consisently enjoyable wine from the Dubourdieu family.

The 2023 Clos Floridène has an open, redcurrant, wild strawberry and sous-bois bouquet that needs a little more vigor. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. Cohesive with a touch of white pepper and clove toward the finish, this is balanced yet needs a little more brightness and tension.

Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, brightening on the edge. Delicate wood nuances, fine caramel, cassis and blackberries, inviting bouquet. Juicy, round and balanced, ripe cherry fruit, fine nougat in the finish, a full-bodied food wine with good ageing potential.
