The Drink Business

More ample, even more glacially pure – like a mountain stream with lots of energy. This sparkles like sunlight catching the fluidity of the flow. Loganberry. Assorted rose petals gently crushed. Sundried tomato and, on the palate, a little tapenade with the salinity that suggests. A little espresso coffee note (but very subtle). Ample, rich but hyper fluid and crystalline (the word to describe all of these Ceretto wines). This needs time but already deliciously plump and juicy, the tannins releasing waves of freshness on the very long and gradually tapering finish. Great terroir expression, once again, and, of course, a great terroir – what’s not to like. Find yourself a decanter, an armchair and a big glass.
