Redbreast 12 years 40 ° - Irish Distillers
Irish Distillers was founded in 1966 following the merger of three well-known companies: John Jamseon & Son, John Power & Son and Cork Distilleries Company. This merger, the only means of survival for an industry in difficulty, led to the closure of two distillation sites, Cork and Dublin. Alone, Midleton remained open and through his rebirth, Jameson also returned to strong growth. In 1988, Irish Distillers joined the Pernod-Ricard group, where the Jameson brand was identified as a source of growth and recognition, which revived the Irish Whiskey industry. The story continues.
