The 2023 Fourcas Dupré has a well-defined, classically styled bouquet with cedar-infused black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, fine acidity, gentle grip, with neatly integrated oak on the finish. Give this three to four years in bottle.

Ripe cherries, spiced currants, olives and paprika on the nose. Juicy and medium- to full-bodied with creamy, fine-grained tannins and an evenly packed, medium-long finish. Better in 2026.

The 2023 Fourcas Dupré has a generous, finely delineated bouquet: a mixture of blueberry and blackberry fruit, pressed iris flower and camphor. The palate is medium-bodied and very cohesive on the entry, although the new oak just impedes across the mid-palate. It's quite chewy and sinewy with a dab of vanilla pod on the finish— just a tad drier than I would prefer. I might be tempted to give this a few years in the cellar.

Die Weinberge von Fourcas Dupré befinden sich auf Pyrenäen-Kies und Lehm. Sie haben ein Durchschnittsalter von 35 Jahren. Die Weinbereitung erfolgt in Betontanks, gefolgt von einer zwölfmonatigen Reifung in Barriques. Das Bouquet offenbart einladende Noten von dunklen Früchten, ergänzt durch Nuancen von Eukalyptus und Süßholz, also Frische. Der Wein hat eine gute Dichte, samtene Tannine und eine strukturierende Säure. Ein Fourcas Dupré, der gut von seinem Terroir bzw. der Mineralität und der Frische geprägt ist.

The 2023 Château Fourcas Dupré is solid, with a rocking nose of red and black plums, smoked tobacco, violets, and chocolaty oak. Nicely textured, medium-bodied, round, and supple, with a forward, delicious style, it's going to drink nicely right out of the gate.

Wet earth, dried flowers and spicy red plums get the wine moving in the nose. Medium-bodied, soft and filled with sweet, red cherries, red plums and herbs, this superb value wine is really showing well. Drink from 2026-2035.

Cabernet dominant aromatics set things up nicely here with restrained black fruits, and a feeling of slow-motion progression. Expect tar, liquorice, fennel, bitter black chocolate, this will age well, needs a good four or five years to soften.

The 2023 Fourcas Dupré is rich, sumptuous and super-expressive, Inky, dark red fruit, white flowers, mint, chocolate and sweet spice are all dialed up in this decidedly flamboyant Listrac.

Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, brightening on the rim. Black forest berries, a hint of cherries, subtle herbal savouriness. Juicy, ripe fruit, opulent style, ripe tannins, lingers, chocolatey, yet with good freshness.
