Tasted at the Cru Bourgeois tasting in London. The oak is a little more pronounced on the Brillette compared to the "Briston-Brillette", a little toastier but with some clean, black dusty fruit behind it. The palate is medium-bodied with firm dry tannins and a slightly mealy finish that is foursquare and needs more lightness of touch. Tasted September 2013.
