The World of Fine Wines

An immediately distinctive and classy nose, the subtlety and fragrance of 39% Cabernet Franc clear, lightly but clearly minerally; medium-full, moderately concentrated, fresh in acidity, lightly to moderately tannic, a particularly elegant balance; an effortless performance on the palate, restrained, sweetly ripe, mouthcoatingly fragrant, long without being large, refined, satisfying, subtle St-Emilion, with raspberry-fragrant persistence. Not a big wine, not particularly concentrated, but all there in a lovely, restrained style. Classic, fine St-Emilion in the nicest sense. This will give a lot of understated, stylish mezzoforte pleasure relatively early on but, given its overall harmony, for many years, too. My kind of fine St-Emilion! (On a ses habitudes!) 2026–45+.
