The 2020 Sénéjac has held on to that seaweed tinged bouquet, with plenty of attractive blackberry and bilberry fruit, a strong estuarine influence at play here. The palate is medium-bodied, a little leaner than its peers, quite tensile though with a fresh, delineated finish. It has a spring in its step and it should drink well for 12-15 years.

This shows aromas of blackcurrants and black cherries with cocoa, pine cones, toasted spices and nut shell. Medium-bodied with round and polished tannins and a fine texture. Some delicious fruit character coming through turning to a chalky and crushed stone yet juicy finish. Try in 2024.

En bouche, le boisé est encore marqué mais s'estompe rapidement devant la sapidité de la matière, plus acidulée, sur des notes de jus de canneberge et de groseille. The 2020 Sénéjac has a strong marine/seaweed nose that takes time to settle in the glass. Touches of black olive emerge with time, nicely defined and full of personality. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, quite edgy tannins on the entry, and graphite-infused black fruit dominates. Earthy and classic in style toward the conclusion. This is a decent, traditional Haut-Médoc, though it needs to fill out on the finish.

Gentle coffee smoke on the nose and spiced waves of flavour that add interest and complexity. This is a good wine with gentle acidities and enough autumnal berry fruit to carry it off. Juicy on the finish, this is another successful vintage at Sénéjac.

Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2020 Senejac features notes of sour cherries, raspberry leaves and redcurrants with a waft of tobacco leaf. The medium-bodied palate is crunchy and refreshing, delivering red berry and herbal flavors with a chewy texture and short, uncomplicated finish.

Rather seductive Senejac with blackcurrant and chocolate character, as well as some walnuts and dried flowers . It’s medium-bodied with a solid core of fruit and a long, flavorful finish. Nice balance. Consistent in the trilogy.
