A straight-up red with berry, walnut, chocolate and dry-earth character. It’s full-bodied with round tannins and a flavorful finish. Rich, juicy wine. Drink after 2022.

The 2018 Le Prélat de Pape Clément offers blackcurrant jam, boysenberry and light violet aromas on the nose. Moderate intensity. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannin, fine acidity, quite dense on the mid-palate but just needing a little more delineation and precision on the finish. Not bad, but it needs to find more personality by time of bottling.

A firm and linear red with dark-berry and chocolate character. Hints of pepper. Medium body, firm and chewy tannins and a medium finish. First vintage I have tasted of this.
