This is a few shades darker than many Saint-Émilions, and it is an indulgent wine with decent impact and finely judged balance. It will open up early in its life to provide exotic drinking, and with coffee and chocolate hints, presumably due to the oak regime, it will appeal to fans of more expressive red wines. 17.5
