There is a spicy, green, minty note here that will always be a part of this wine, and while it is just about in balance, it does suggest that this wine is a nudge under-ripe. Energetic, fit tannins make the finish quite drying, so this will take a while to resolve. 15.5+

The 2021 Fourcas Dupré has quite a perfumed, floral, Margaux-like bouquet displaying good vigor, and plenty of blueberry and iris flower scents. The palate is medium-bodied and cohesive, with sappy black fruit and a simple yet fresh finish. This will drink nicely over 15 years.
