Color: Deep cherry red with bright purple hues. Nose: complex with aromas of cherry, blackcurrant, violet and wild strawberry, married with small notes of cocoa and sweet spices. Palate: fruity, powerful and fleshy. Persistent and refreshing finish with notes of liquorice and peppermint.

The parcels of this estate surround the abbey Sainte-Marie de Fontcaude founded in 1154 and located in the town of Cazedarnes, in the heart of Languedoc. Its name means "Hot Fountain" in Occitan (Font Cauda): the presence of a source has certainly led to the tracing of paths and routes since ancient times. Thus, this abbey is located on a ramp of the roads of St Jacques de Compostela and thus constituted a place of stage for many pilgrims.
