Cuvée Alain Thiénot Millésimé - Champagne Thiénot
The Alain Thiénot cuvée, a signature blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, is the signature of the know-how and demand of the Maison. Established exclusively in remarkable years, it is an exceptional wine of great complexity and perfectly balanced. The Millésime After a cold and sunny winter, the softness that gradually recurs in mid-January, as well as the summer climate that settles at the end of May, favor an early development of the vegetation. In spite of contrasting months of July and August, the end of the summer is marked by important thermal variations which make it possible to obtain healthy clusters and particularly concentrated in sugars. The harvest begins on September 12 and gives a glimpse of a superb year. The tasting of light wines in the spring of 2003 confirms this hope and reveals a vintage that is both powerful and balanced, with Chardonnays with exotic refined flavors and complex Pinot noirs with spicy accents.
