Wine Advocate 88 / 100 byRobert Parkerthe2/28/1993 The 1990 is equal to the 1989. The saturated color, intense black-cherry, oaky nose, and dense, rich, medium to full-bodied flavors reveal fine concentration and balance. Drink it over the next 5-12 years.
Wine Advocate 86-87 / 100 byRobert Parkerthe6/30/1992 The poor man's Leoville-Las-Cases? Sixty-three percent of the production from the vineyards of Leoville-Las-Cases went into this wine, which is surprisingly rich, and better than many of the more renowned cru classes of St.-Julien. It exhibits an intense black cherry nose, a touch of new oak, as well as good concentration and balance. Drink it over the next 5-7 years. Impressive!
