Bright and punchy to the core, the 2020 offers up crushed red berry fruit, mocha, espresso and licorice, with pretty floral and savory nuances woven throughout. This mid-weight, vibrant Graves has a lot to offer. The tannins remain a bit edgy, so a few years in bottle are warranted.

Bright and punchy in the glass, the 2020 has plenty of energy, all propped up by a spine of tannin that lends energy. Floral and savory accents add perfume over time. It will be interesting to see if the 2020 softens with élevage.

The palate is medium-bodied with grippy, slightly rustic tannins and a very slight greenness, but that merely lends freshness on the finish. Not a long-term Graves, though.
