Dried flowers, herbs, tobacco leaf, lead pencil and cherry aromas are your initial attraction. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, fruity, forward and fresh with a nice blast of sweet, ripe, polished cherries on the mid-palate and in the creamy finish where you find a refreshing note of spearmint on the backend. Drink from 2023-2037.

The 2020 Château d'Arsac has a well-defined, quite elegant nose, perfumed blackberry and bilberry fruit, crushed iris petal and light cedar scents. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit and fine structure. Not a powerful 2020 with just a slight tinniness on the finish. Give this a couple of years in bottle, and this Margaux Cru Bourgeois will turn out fine.

Blackcurrants, mushrooms, bark, and black cherries. Some tar. Full body with juicy and chewy tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Solid red for the vintage. Drink after 2025.

Château d'Arsac se distingue par son caractère linéaire, par son aptitude à démontrer son très bon
niveau dès les premières secondes et à maintenir le cap jusqu'en finale... et au-delà ! Même s'il
entre en scène sur la pointe des pieds, le vin pose rapidement les jalons en revendiquant sa
jeunesse par un peu de réduction mais aussi en démontrant son niveau par sa pluralité. Oui, la
réduction partie des droits fondamentaux du vin ! Bien tenu par des tannins sereins, puissants et
suaves, le vin souligne sa fraîcheur et son aptitude à défier les temps à venir. Maintenant, il faut le
laisser tranquille, il a envie de se reposer ! 2026-2045

Always a solid wine, the 2020 Château D'Arsac has a complex, nuanced nose of red and black fruits, dried flowers, Asian spices, and cedary herbs. It’s medium-bodied and has good overall balance, ripe tannins, and wonderful purity of fruit.

Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2020 D'Arsac gives up notes of ripe raspberries, Bing cherries and fresh blackberries, plus hints of wild thyme and forest floor. The medium-bodied palate offers compellingly pure red berry layers with bright herbal sparks and a soft texture, leading to a refreshing finish.

Nez un peu fermé somme toute classique, avec des notes de menthol et de fruits frais. La bouche est plus boisée que le nez, les tanins serrent un peu, la densité est moyenne. Dommage que le bois soit trop présent, finale pourtant sur l'allonge.
