Forte prise de bois, notes de cuir un peu plus rustiques au nez que dans d’autres crus de l’appellation, volumineux, charnu, chaleureux, avec un petit déficit de finesse. Le tannin n’a en revanche rien de rustique : il est ferme et plutôt velouté.

A light, herbaceous nose with touches of chocolate and espresso (this has an exotic touch that I have not noticed before on Lynch Moussas.) The palate is medium-bodied, good clarity here, peppery, slightly herbaceous fruits but well balanced with a simple elegance to it. Will make fine early drinking. Tasted April 2008.
