Bettane & Desseauve 92 / 100 by Bettane & Desseauvethe5/3/2017 Nez expressif, richement fruité, touches florales et mentholées, bouche savoureuse, énergique, longue, parfaitement tramée et équilibrée.
Wine Advocate 90-92 / 100 byNeal Martinthe5/2/2017 The 2016 La Fleur Peyrabon has a perfumed, floral bouquet not a million miles away from Margaux. I appreciate the definition and freshness here. The palate is medium-bodied, not a powerful Pauillac but very elegant. The tannins here seem very fine and there is wonderful tension towards the finish. Maybe not a long-term proposition—it may need more body—but it is a beautiful wine that should give a lot of pleasure over the next 10-15 years.
The Wine Cellar Insider 89-91 / 100 byJeff Levethe4/27/2017 You quickly sense the smoke, tobacco and crisp cassis character of this wine. Medium bodied with roundness to the tannins, the wine leaves you with an earthy freshness in tihe finish.
Decanter.com 90 / 100 byJane Ansonthe4/25/2017 This is pretty closed down. Feel the weight and the swagger of the tannins, it's a good wine but more foursquare and old school than many Pauillacs who have worked their tannins a little more silkily this year. But I like the traditional side to it - a Pauillac lovers' Pauillac, and a value pick at this wine's usual price point. Drinking Window 2023 - 2038

Jancis Robinson 16,5 / 20 byJancis Robinsonthe4/21/2017 Blackish crimson. Sweet, floral nose. Very soft. Where are the tannins?! Salty end. Easy to like but not very serious.
Wine Enthusiast 92-94 / 100 byRoger Vossthe4/19/2017 Barrel Sample. The Haut-Médoc estate of Peyrabon has a small vineyard parcel in Pauillac, the flower. This wine is generous in black fruit tones as well as just the right amount of solid tannins. It will certainly age well.
