Chapuis, Savigny Les Beaune - Savigny les Beaune 2022
Domaine Chapuis relies on 170 years of family tradition and is located at the foot of the Corton hill in Burgundy. Claire and her brother Pierre represent the 6th generation. Since 2018, they manage the estate alongside their parents, Maurice and Anne-Marie. The estate has been passed on from generation to generation since 1850. Everything started when Pierre Pavelot bought the first vineyard plot of one hectare plus 0.60 hectares of Charlemagne with his brother.
The vineyard spreads over 11 hectares in Côte de Beaune around the Corton hill, with 8 Village, Grands Crus and Premiers Crus appellations, both red and white.

The vineyard of Savigny-les-Beaune is located on the banks of the Rhoin, a little stream which cuts through the Côte de Beaune. The vineyard is planted on gentle slopes with a southern exposure. It borders the clay soils of the Corton hill. Thanks to its soils, the wine is powerful with a fruity taste.
