The 2015 d'Agassac has a commendable bouquet with ample blackberry and wild strawberry fruit that is neatly integrated with the oak. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chewy tannin, but good depth and body with a punchy, blackberry and cedar finish that does the trick. Give this a couple of years in bottle and you will have a very decent Haut-Médoc. Drink 2019-2030

A dark, brooding wine, the 2015 Beaumont is full of character and personality. Tobacco, scorched earth, black cherry and licorice are some of the signatures in a hearty, pleasantly rustic Haut-Médoc that will deliver excellent drinking, especially at the dinner table.

Dark crimson. Light but very correct nose. Quite robust. Just a tad stodgy but everything is there. Chunky tannins on the end.Drink 2017-2021

Barrel Sample. Black currant flavors balance tight acidity and a firm texture in this wine. The palate also brings a touch of spice, prune and black plum flavors. The aftertaste is juicy and with plenty of acidity. 90 points
