Château Cantemerle’s progress in recent years is undeniable, and it all stems from their increasingly refined approach to the wine’s texture. If we’ve witnessed its matured richness in hotter vintages, then in the cooler, less sunny 2024 vintage, it still unexpectedly delivers a smooth and velvety texture, like a freshly steamed cornbread that gently melts between the lips and teeth. The aromas of graphite, pine, and iris are pure and expressive, while the bright acidity gives the wine a precise, sculpted structure. This wine reflects the strong potential of a dedicated winemaking team, with a promising future ahead.
