Red berry aromas on the nose, fragrant and lively. This has a filling texture, softly chewy tannins give a round mouthfeel with a soft plushness and some minty, liquorice and herbal touches. It’s quite straight, touching on austere in terms of texture although the acidity is well balanced by the ripe fruit and concentration. Quite a sexy wine, with chalky tannins and some salty, minerality on the finish. The density and overall weight belies the vintage conditions, this is not weak at all. A touch of sweetness too adds complexity but ends austere and mineral with the limestone terroir in the glass. This is excellent. Good potential. Ageing 20% new foudre, 30% new oak, rest one year barrels. 3.54pH.

Le bouquet surprend par son boisé, respectivement par des notes de torréfaction plutôt insistantes. La donne change au niveau gustatif ; le vin a de la largeur, une touche suave et des tannins vigoureux qui sont en phase avec une tension salivante. Un vin à l’image d’un adolescent qui doit ranger sa chambre, mais qui dispose d’un mobilier adéquat ! Il va s’assagir et dispose de bonnes perspectives ! 2029-2044

Couleur sombre, intense et pourpre. Nez très aromatique, fruité, subtil, truffé. Il évolue complexe dans le verre. Délicat en entrée de bouche, minutieux au toucher, avec beaucoup de saveurs et de l'allonge, le vin évolue fondant, savoureux, sur une longueur normale. C'est très bon. Beau déroulé délié pour un 100 % merlot. Degré d’alcool : 13°5 – pH : 3,54.
