Arsac - Margaux 2022
The estate:
Considered as one of the oldest wine estates in the Médoc, Château d'Arsac was founded more than 9 centuries ago. While it was once recognized as the largest vineyard in the region; in 1986, it almost disappeared. However, Château d'Arsac rose from its ashes thanks to the talent of Philippe Raoux and his teams. Since its purchase, the estate has been shining again and it has benefited from a reclassification of 54ha of its terroir as AOC Margaux. Symbol of this new dynamic, Château d’Arsac has been promoted to “Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel” in 2020.
Here, for more than 3 decades, art and wine are intimately related. Each new vintage is a true creation and inspires a new work of art, which then decorates the gardens of the estate. Vintage after vintage, taste and beauty match perfectly.
Tasting note:

To agitation, the wine reveals more empyreumatic flavours.
