The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity. Harmonious and extremely well focused, this conveys a sense of energy on the finish that makes you want to return for another sip. The palate is considerably more mature than when I last reviewed this wine a couple of years age, so I suspect this bottle may have been slightly oxidized, nonetheless it offers loads of nutty nuances accenting the dried fruits, finishing deliciously spicy.

Asian Palate 94-95 par Jeannie Cho Lee MW le 24/05/2011 The 2010 Coutet exhibits wonderful aromatics of dried mangoes, dried apricots and marmalade, and a great concentration of botrytis flavours. Rich, dense but with firm acidity and great length, this is an impressive effort from a producer not usually known for reaching such heights. This fantastic Sauternes shows a wonderful balance between sweet layered flavours and firm acidity, has a long lingering finish and is built to age for decades. This is one for your cellar.
