Pretty notes of plums, orange blossom, and violets emerge from the 2017 Château Vrai Canon Bouché, which is medium-bodied, nicely textured, and charming. It shows the more mid-weight style of the vintage, yet has rounded, pleasure-bent texture and should keep for 5-7 years.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 Vrai Canon Bouché gives up cedar and cinnamon toast scents over a plums and blackberry-inspired core. The palate is medium-bodied with a good amount of sustained fruit in the mouth, framed by ripe, grainy tannins and lovely freshness, finishing on a spicy note.
