Wine Advocate 88 / 100 par Robert Parker le 30/04/2015 From the Villars family, the 2012 Chasse-Spleen has a saturated ruby/purple color and chunky, medium-bodied flavors of cassis, earth and spice, It cuts a somewhat powerful personality across the palate and finishes with moderate tannin. This is a good to very good Mèdoc that will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and last for 12-15 years.
Jamessuckling.com 88 / 100 par James Suckling le 15/02/2015 Aromatic aromas of plums and minerals follow through to a medium body with citrusy acidity and a fresh finish. Better in two years when the wine comes together.

Le Point 15,5-16 / 20 par Jacques Dupont le 16/05/2013 Fruits noirs, un peu de bois, bouche onctueuse, veloutée, tanins frais, vifs, croquants, joli fruit, long. O= 2016 G= 8 ans.
Wine Advocate 89-91 / 100 par Neal Martin le 03/05/2013 The Chasse-Spleen has an attractive citrus-fresh bouquet with very fine freshness and delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with chalky tannins on the entry. I like the strictness and linearity of the pre-natal Chasse-Spleen. It does not possess the persistency or volume of a top vintage, but there is plenty of attractive, cedar and smoke infused fruit to enjoy. It will probably need several years bottle age. Commendable. Tasted April 2013.
Wine Spectator 88-91 / 100 par James Molesworth le 30/04/2013 Grippy, downplaying the burly edge of the vintage, offering crushed plum and raspberry fruit laced with black tea and mineral notes. The structure is almost supple through the finish. —J.M.
Wine Advocate 87-89 / 100 par Robert Parker le 26/04/2013 This attractive dark ruby/plum-colored 2012 offers up notes of lead pencil shavings, vanillin, earth, black currants and black cherries. Medium-bodied, easygoing, seductive and consumer friendly, drink it over the next decade.Drink: 2013 - 2023
My Bettane + Desseauve 15 / 20 le 25/04/2013 Souple, échantillon fatigué hélas, semble équilibré dans sa fin de bouche avec de la chair et du confort tactile. À revoir dans six mois.
Decanter.com 16,5 / 20 par Steven Spurrier le 22/04/2013 Fine expression of Cabernet-Merlot fruit on nose and palate, the classy depth expected from this chateau. 16.5/20pts ( 88/100pts)Drink: 2016 - 2025
Jancis Robinson 15 / 20 par Jancis Robinson le 18/04/2013 Drink 2019-2027Rich, apparently superripe fruit on the nose. Then very, uncomfortably green on the palate. A real mismatch. Did they think we wouldn't notice?!
