Les Tours de Laroque est issu du même terroir que Laroque. Il est
composé des jeunes vignes et de lots qui ne sont pas destinés au
grand vin. Déjà très invitant d’un point de vue olfactif, avec ses
nuances chocolatées et épicées, le vin se distingue par sa fraîcheur et
sa tension. Il doit ce côté incisif, énergique au terroir argilo-calcaire.

Lots of dark chocolate on the nose with blueberries, ripe blackberries, plums, dried lavender, toast and mahogany. It’s medium-to full-bodied with firm, chewy tannins. Needs time to soften. Try in 2025.

The second wine of Château Laroque, the 2019 Les Tours De Laroque is certainly worth checking out. It shows the purity and precision of the Grand Vin, only in a more up-front, soft, charming, medium-bodied package. The blend is 93% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc, and it's balanced, pure, and undeniably delicious. Drink it any time over the coming decade.

The 2019 Les Tours de Laroque bursts with aromas of raspberries, plums, licorice and sweet soil tones. Medium to full-bodied, layered and lively, it's rich and seamless, with bright fruit flavors and ripe tannins, concluding with a slightly heady finish that detracts a little from my score.

The 2019 Tours de Laroque is a very pretty second wine from this Saint-Émilion property. Soft, supple and easygoing, the 2019 is a fine choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. Bright red berry fruit and crushed flower notes linger on the mid-weight finish.

The 2019 Les Tours de Laroque has a well-defined bouquet with a touch of menthol coming through with time. The palate is medium-bodied, grippy and assertive, with gritty tannins, yet fresh toward the graphite-tinged finish. A fine second wine.
