Created in 2019 under the guidance of Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal, this Bordeaux appellation wine offers a more immediate and enticing expression of the Angélus style while preserving its depth and complexity.

Sourced from carefully selected parcels in Castillon-la-Bataille and Sainte-Colombe, on exceptional clay-limestone slopes, it benefits from the same precision-driven vinification as its prestigious elder borthers, crafted in the purpose-built Chai Carillon cellar. In keeping with the estate’s identity, its label proudly bears Angélus’ iconic bell, a symbol of rhythm and time. Tempo d’Angélus is designed for wine lovers seeking to experience Angélus’ expertise in an accessible yet elegant expression.

The 2024 vintage :

Following a mild, wet winter, spring was unusually rainy too – except for a brief interlude during flowering – all the way until June.
The old proverb “August makes the must” once again confirmed what our ancestors always said. Dry and sunny July and August brought back smiles, and our grapes gained taste, substance and character.
September, though more uncertain, enabled us to ensure a reasonably abundant harvest and to pick some very nice grapes.
On the clay-limestone terroirs of Tempo, the Merlot grapes achieved their full potential in 2024. The floral and racy nose is immediately appealing, while the Cabernet Franc, making up a smaller proportion of the blend, contributes delicate spicy notes. The palate is full of energy, with velvety tannins.
