The World of Fine Wines

Crisply ripe cassis-cored Cabernet nose, with a particularly pronounced fruit; very nicely
balanced, fairly full-bodied, fresh in acidity, very fine-textured in tannin; a refined, fresh yet
sweetly ripe, cassis-cored flavor, long and even and fine, beautifully supple and gently fleshy
in texture, long and graceful across the palate, subtly mineral behind the deliciously refined fruitcore, and with a very long fruit-perfumed and gravel-fragrant aftertaste. Succulent, subtle, long to develop, with a fine complexity, a really lovely, particularly elegant, complete and classy Talbot. A beauty, so harmonious, perhaps the finest I can remember tasting en primeur? 2030–50+.
