St André de Figuières - Cuvée Magali - Côtes de Provence rosé 2016
The wine-growing roots of Combard, first cultivated in Burgundy in the 70s, Alain Combard develops with his friend and associate, Michel Laroche, what will quickly become one of the most beautiful houses in Chablis. An aviator, a navigator and an insatiable explorer, he set out in 1992 to look for a new vineyard still unrecognized: Provence. A year later, he discovered the 18 hectares of Domaine Saint André de Figuière where he decided to settle with a strong conviction: the rosé of Provence deserves to be the equal of a great white. Figuière is a family house which is therefore part of a long-term history and a transmission process that places the human being at the heart of its ethics. The family is understood here in the broad sense, that of heart which shares the same values, the same love of their profession, their terroir and the vine. Magali, Delphine and François succeeded their father Alain at the head of the estate and proudly perpetuate his pioneering spirit. Between heritage and innovation, Figuière is a house of tradition and craftsmanship that intends to cultivate with daring and creativity, strong of the new techniques of winemaking, a heritage still alive.
