This Spiced Rum from the Caribbean is assembled and bottled in Cognac, France. Spytail is based on a traditional 19th century recipe from barrel aged rum with fresh ginger roots and spices, resulting in a rich, spicy and complex spirit. Spytail is named after a legendary submarine. The first mechanical submarines in the world were invented in France and tested on the Charente River. These are the submarines used by Jules Vernes as a source of inspiration for his famous novel: 20,000 leagues under the sea. Spytail is delicious, alone with ice, with coca, ginger beer or ginger ale, or as an ingredient of your favorite rum cocktail.
