The 2015 Siaurac offers straightforward blackcurrant, raspberry and savory notes on the nose, nicely defined if just needing a tad more vigor. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannin, a little rustic and angular in style. I would like more flesh on the bones of the finish that feels conservative and needs more persistence, but I think that will develop with another few months in bottle. Anticipated maturity: 2019 - 2026.

The 2015 Siaurac is plump, juicy and impeccably balanced. This is an especially gracious, mid-weight Lalande de Pomerol, especially within the context of a vintage that produced wines that are often more exuberant and lush.

Second vintage with Penelope Godefroy, and at the start of the organic conversion. This is lovely, already accessible with its dark brambly fruits and soft tannins. The emphasis here is definitely on pleasure, and it's extremely tasty as a result.

The best Siaurac ever produced. This wine delivers soft, polished textures, ripe, black raspberries, cocoa, licorice and an earthy component. Having more weight and density than usual, it finishes with sweet, polished black raspberries and dark cocoa.
