In the eighteenth century, it is an old habitation sugar called "Habitation Bellevue", due to the magnificent view on the mountains. It then produces raw sugar loaves which are then shipped to mainland France for refining. Around 1800, Monsieur Séverin acquired the Domaine, which would keep its name. Domaine de Séverin becomes a pineapple cannery. In 1928, Henri Marsolle decided to buy the Domaine de Séverin from his aunt. This is the beginning of a family adventure. The Marsolle family devotes all its passion to the quality of production. Transmitted from father to son, the Rhums Domaine de Séverin continue to refine their technique until obtaining the exceptional quality that still distinguishes them today.
