This shows aromas of ripe black cherries, mulberries, dark chocolate, licorice and crushed walnut. Medium- to full-bodied, dense and velvety with creamy tannins and silky texture. Polished finish. 80% merlot and 20% cabernet franc. Drink from 2025.

The 2020 Puyblanquet is an attractive, understated Saint-Émilion. Bright floral notes, spice and mocha open in the perfumed, expressive bouquet, give this lithe, articulate 2020 lovely definition. Understated and classy to the core, Puyblanquet has quite a bit to offer.

Très beau nez plus floral que fruité avec des notes de violette, d'iris, de fleurs de printemps et une pointe de cassis. Une extraction un peu poussée avec des tanins structurants, de l'allonge et une consistance moyennement dense. Petite pointe métallique. Une belle fraicheur pour un vin élégant. Potentiel à venir.
