The pure and delicate fragrance intertwine with juicy and sweet blackberries. Both the richness and transparency can be maintained in this wine. You can easily understand its straightforward expression with an elegant herbal fragrance after opulent Merlot. On its finish, a blast of special tension spreads on your palate, trapping all energy like an invisible net. ???????????????????????,?????????????????????????????,????????????????????????????????????,???????????????????

Lots of crushed-stone and graphite aromas with dark fruit and walnuts. Full-bodied, yet tight and polished, with a very juicy structure and a long, linear finish. Shows finesse and focus. 60% merlot, 30% cabernet franc and 10% cabernet sauvignon. Better after 2024.

The top wine of the château, the 2019 Château Monbousquet comes from lower down on the plain of Saint-Emilion and is made by the talented team of Gérard Perse. Gorgeous notes of blackcurrants, mulberries, spicy oak, graphite, and tobacco all give way to a full-bodied 2019 with gorgeous depth of fruit, ripe, polished tannins, no hard edges, and a great, great finish. It's a hedonist, beautifully balanced, seamless 2019 that's loaded with character. Drink it over the coming 10-15 years.

Aromas of ripe cherries, fig jam, sweet soil tones, cloves and other warm spices introduce the 2019 Monbousquet, a medium to full-bodied, rich and concentrated wine that's broad and generous, with a muscular, fruit-driven profile underpinned by plenty of powdery, generously extracted tannin.

The 2019 Monbousquet is packed with blackberry jam, espresso, chocolate, new leather, licorice, spice and graphite. Dark and quite deep, yet with brooding intensity, the 2019 has a ton to offer. Give it a few years to soften. Today, the tannins and overall structure are pretty imposing for a Saint-Émilion that has been much more forthcoming in the past. 92+

The 2019 Monbousquet remains deep in color. The bouquet is opulent and generous, featuring macerated black cherries, cassis and violet and a drop of balsamic in the background. Finely delineated, though it just misses a bit of charm. The palate is sweet and candied on the entry, the new oak quite conspicuous and leaving some unwanted wood tannins on the back palate. Still grippy on the finish, this Monbousquet needs to meld together in bottle. It feels a bit tough at the moment.

The 2019 Monbousquet is a blend of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, harvested between the 27th of September and 8th of October. The yields this year were 39 hectoliters per hectare, and the alcohol came in at 14.55%, while the pH was 3.68. A little reduced to begin on the nose, it soon unfurls to offer scents of licorice, tar, black raspberries and truffles over a core of plum preserves, blueberry compote and smoked meats. The medium to full-bodied palate gives a sturdy foundation of firm tannins, with bold freshness lifting the serious dark fruit and earth flavors to a long finish.

The 2019 Monbousquet is dark, racy and exotic to the core. Blackberry jam, gravel, menthol, cloves and leather explode onto the palate as this unctuous Saint-Émilion shows off its extroverted personality. The 2019 is not at all subtle, but it sure is inviting. Even with all of its obvious richness, the 2019 has a good bit of structure. This is an especially fine and promising vintage for Monbousquet.

A year-in, year-out value, the 2019 Château Monbousquet knocks it out of the park with its ripe, sexy, yet also elegant profile. Currants, black cherries, blueberries, toasted spice, chocolate, and a touch of minerality all define the bouquet, and it's beautifully balanced, has richness as well as elegance, and is unquestionably a stunning 2019!

The 2019 Monbousquet is conspicuously deep in colour. It has an intense nose of black cherries, raspberry, blueberry and violets that lend it a Margaux-like personality. There is certainly a bit of new oak to be assimilated during élevage and in bottle. The palate is succulent on the entry with juicy ripe black fruit. The tannins tightly grip the back palate. A Janus Saint-Émilion where there seems to be two Monbousquet's fighting for supremacy, one wanting to be approachable and the other determined for longevity. This is an intriguing Monbousquet. It does seem to become more tannic and masculine with aeration - I look forward to seeing what it turns into once in bottle.

Starting out with salty aromas meshed with blackberry, black cherry, licorice and assorted dark fruits, this is much deeper, darker and fleshier than other recent vintages. The finish serves up a long wave of lushly textured, polished fruits and ripe tannins. The wine is a blend of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. 92-94 Pts

Plenty of deep, rich fruit with blackberries, tar and walnuts. Moss, too. It's full and flavorful. Tannic and rich. Very intense.
