Winemaking
Type of tanks: alcoholic fermentation in concrete and stainless-steel tanks / malolactic fermentation in wooden, concrete and stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing: aged in our cellar for 12 months.

Tasting commentary
The young vines were generous in 2019.
The wine has a very nice intense red color.
The nose is expressive.
The generous mouth evolves on red fruit flavors with very nice minty notes. The whole is perfectly balanced between charm and strength.
The mid-palate is round and suave, with nice soft and delicate tannins.
The finish is long.
A perfect introduction to the wines produced at Brane.
To be drunk within the next five years.

Perfumed nose of plums, raspberries, roses, chocolate, praline and sweet spices. It’s medium-bodied with silky tannins. Floral and fresh with pretty spice notes. Drink after 2023.

Coming from young vines and the third wine of the estate, the 2019 Margaux De Brane is another charming, well-made Margaux offering up-front darker currant and cherry fruits, medium-bodied richness, a round, supple texture, and a good finish. It's a pleasure-bent, elegant wine to drink in its youth.

The 2019 Margaux de Brane is bright, floral and perfumed, all of which make it a fine choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. The vibrancy of the fruit in this Merlot-driven red is especially alluring. In 2019 the Brane is an absolute delight.

The 2019 Margaux de Brane has a very pleasant bouquet of brambly red fruit and morello cherries mixed with wild strawberry and cranberry, a light mintiness following through with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with a nicely structured opening, quite fresh, not deep and slightly tapered toward the finish. It should drink well for several years. 14.6° alcohol
