This sports a very pure fruit profile, with a blaze of red currant, cherry and plum fruit that sails along, guided by substantial but well-embedded structure. The long, stone- and plum pit—tinged finish has a pleasant austerity, and this should age gracefully. Best from 2014 through 2022. 6,916 cases made.

Lovely chocolate, hazelnut and berries. Roses too. Ripe and fresh. Full body, with juicy fruit and a lovely berry and currant aftertaste. Tangy acidity. Delicious now but better in 2016

This is certainly displaying some sur-maturite on the nose with touches of fresh prune and fig. The palate is full-bodied with chewy tannins, moderate acidity, attractive purity and showing more refinement and composure towards the sinewy finish. Tasted March 2011.

Tiefes Purpur. Damasznerpflaumen, leichte Tresternoten. Im Gaumen stoffig, dichte Tannine, relativ viel Frucht. Eine aufsteingende Domaine? Die Zukunft wird es weisen. 2015-2028

At the moment, the 2010 Laroze is restrained and closed, but there is pelnty of power and intensity behind the tannins. The palate reveals subtle flavours of plums, dark berries and cedar notes. The texture, balance and depth of this wine suggests it will open up nicely in time. Do not approach for at least 6-8 years.

Joli vin, sans la moindre lourdeur et d’un équilibre superbe : richesse du fruit, suavité gourmande, allonge svelte.

Roses and berries, with hints of milk chocolate. Full and velvety.

More structured than the '09 but without exaggeration. The tender side of Laroze still shows. Lovely fruit expression. Good length. Harmonious. Drink 2016-2025. (16.5 points)

Shows more toasty spice and vanilla aromas, with the core of plum and blackberry fruit staying in reserve for now. Yet there's solid length, with good grip on the finish. —J.M.
