The Long Echines 2017 - Pouilly Fumé - Domaine Gaudry

Color: Light golden yellow, shiny and clear. Nose: Beautiful white fruits. Fine palate, crystalline and finely minty. Palate: Nice fruity flesh with citrus nuances, exoticism underlined by a nice saline tension. Vinous texture of beautiful origin, clean and chiseled with a light perceptible and frank. The finish is on notes of pear, apple and lychee with a nice balance.

Six generations of winemakers, Nicolas Gaudry and his wife Sandy have been exploiting since 2003 seven hectares of very fragmented plots between the villages of Boisgibault and Les Loges. This distribution in the vineyard of Pouilly offers possibilities of complex assemblies of all types of soils for a typical Pouilly-Fumé wine.
