The 2022 Lafaurie-Peyraguey Sec has a fresh gooseberry, nettle and slightly earthy bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with fresh green apple, pear and light ginger notes on the finish. Worth hunting down.

This is impressive, careful and impressive handling of the dry white, teasing out citrus, lime juice, plenty of slate minerality and careful delivery of white pear and oyster shell salinity. Has grip and the right amount of bitterness on the finish.
