The 2022 Lacoste-Borie presents a vibrant nose, well-defined and focused with blackberry, wild strawberry and light sous-bois aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with sapid black fruit, moderate weight and a fresh, generous finish. It may not be as long on the aftertaste as others, but this is a very delicious Lacoste-Borie.

Deep vibrant nose, aromatic and scented with floral notes and soft hints of liquorice, earth, blackcurrants, black cherries and herbal-edged raspberries. Succulent and sharp, zingy and tangy straight away. Lovely purity and focus, smooth but fine-grained tannins make the impact and give the delicate but so appealing structure. Lovely precision and generosity here, feels elegant and lively with good fruit persistence, mouthwatering acidity and liveliness. Intense but pure, layered but almost light, with an undercurrent of wet stone and graphite giving the mineral touches alongside subtle spice. Well made and so easy to enjoy. 3.65pH. A yield of 38hl/ha. 60% grand vin, 40% second wine. Eric Boissenot consultant.

The 2022 Lacoste-Borie, raised in 50% new oak, has an ebullient bouquet with cranberry, raspberry and wilted rose petal scents. There is a trace of melted tar. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins. The 2022 shows a lovely balance, somehow carefree, with completeness and what I suspect will be enticing drinkability. That said, it has the structure to age.

A blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, and 9% Cabernet Franc, the 2022 Lacoste-Borie is deep garnet-purple in color. It scoots out with eager-to-please scents of redcurrant jelly, fresh blackberries, and black raspberries, plus wafts of wild sage, roses, and tilled soil. The medium-bodied palate is bright and refreshing with soft tannins, leading to a perfumed finish on this pretty wine.

Lacoste Borie révèle bien son élevage mais il ne manque pas d'également mettre en valeur des nuances de framboises et de menthe, donc de la fraîcheur ! Cette dernière est également soulignée en bouche, dès l'attaque. Elle est complétée par une agréable sucrosité qu'elle doit à des tannins suaves, mais encore quelque peu austères en fin de bouche. L'élevage saura régler cela, mais ce Lacoste Borie n'en est pas moins gourmand et salivant !

The 2022 Lacoste-Borie is soft, supple and easygoing, all of which will make it a fine choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. Succulent dark cherry, plum, spice, mocha and leather give this juicy Pauillac lovely complexity. Drinking window : 2025-2032

A blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 9% Cabernet Franc, the 2022 Lacoste-Borie is as good a wine from this label as I can remember tasting. Exhibiting aromas of cassis, charcoal and violets, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and lively, with excellent depth and persistence.

This is full of serious Pauillac tannins, great quality, with plenty of depth to the black fruits and acidity to underpin the palate. Firm in its framework, serious and with clear ability to soften over ageing, good quality, softened by edges of damp fern and rose petal aromatics.

Beau rouge sombre. Nez extrêmement aromatique et précis, évoluant pur. Nuances de cerise noire, de vanille. Touche cacaotée. Bouche aérienne et particulièrement fruitée, se développant sur un toucher en dentelle. Il se boit comme du petit lait, savoureux et très bon.
