Heritage of St Jean - 2015 - Old vines Carignan
Carignan is an exclusively Mediterranean grape, which likes hot and limestone soils without fear of drought. The yield of young, good-looking, vigorous Carignan vines is limited by a short cup size. In contrast, older vines are much less productive, and naturally give high quality grapes. This is what we propose to discover with this wine.
