Du Glana - Saint-Julien 2024
The estateChâteau Du Glana is situated along the banks of the Gironde estuary, nestled between the villages of Beychevelle and Saint-Julien, and directly across from the renowned Château Ducru-Beaucaillou.
After changing hands several times, Mr. Gabriel Meffre acquired Château Du Glana in 1961. Over the ensuing years, the vineyard expanded from 5 to 43 hectares, nearly all in one contiguous parcel. Now, Jean-Paul Meffre, assisted by his sons Ludovic and Julien, oversees the estate. They are driven by a significant ambition: to realize the full potential of the estate.
Vintage 2024
A demanding vintage, shaped by unstable weather but successfully managed through meticulous vineyard work and harvest from September 23 to October 4. Yields were lower, but the wines show precision and balance.

Fresh and fruity, this wine charms with its silkiness, vibrant fruit, and harmonious texture. A bright and promising Saint-Julien.
