Château Fieuzal, a wine set apart

Château Fieuzal is one of the highlights of this great wine region of Graves. It is one of the most esteemed wines of the Pessac Leognan appellation, which comes from the four centuries-old talent exerted by winegrowers who love their profession on an exceptional terroir.

The 2023 vintage

Climatic conditions: 

In 2023, Domaine de Fieuzal produced an exceptional wine, a true reflection of its unique terroir. This success is largely due to the ideal rainfall, which enabled the fine, deep gravel soils to benefit from an optimal water supply, for both white and red grape varieties. This vintage stands out for its meticulous harvest spread out over time, rigorous work in the vines and vinification carried out with the greatest care.

Tasting notes: 

Crystal clear with golden reflections. The aromas are fresh and very precise, with notes of apricot and lemony fresh citrus fruit giving way after a few moments to very mineral nuances of flint and chalk. Straightforward and pure ont the palate, its expresses all the complexity and identity of the 2023 vintage, with a freshy texture reminiscent of vineyard peaches. the finish is fresh and elegant, with a distinctive bitterness that will give this Fieuzal remarkable staying power.
