Dark fruits, tobacco and clove, black cherry and blackcurrant with a dusting of black pepper spice. Smooth and sapid, this has an energy and focus, crisp and a touch sweet with chalky tannins. Well structured, deep and quite serious for a second wine. Tannin density, wide mouthfeel and general lift. Some bitterness and touches of chalk and caramel on the finish. 20% new, 80 one, two and three years old for 14 months. 3.48pH.
