On the orange range of the fruit side, with tropical nuances, there is ample honey and vanilla as well as mango and papaya. Sweet, with a jolt of overripe pineapple and marmalade in the finish, you can enjoy this young, or age it for more nuances.

The 2018 Doisy-Daëne has a well-defined bouquet, a little reticent at first but opening to offer scents of wild honey, white flowers and orange blossom. The palate is medium-bodied with a ripe, viscous opening, very pure and full of tension, more so than other 2018 Sauternes/Barsacs. Very persistent on the finish. This is an excellent Doisy-Daëne.

Nice viscosity, with pineapple, peach and mango notes layered together and infused with a warm brioche accent through the lush finish. Good energy for the vintage too. Drink now through 2032. 2,500 cases made. –JM

Mittleres Grüngelb, Silberreflexe. Zart nach Honig, kandierten Orangenzesten, feines Marillenkonfit, ein Hauch von eingelegten Litschi unterlegt. Saftig, eingebundene Süße, zart nach Dosenpfirsich, wirkt recht kraftvoll, bereits gut entwickelt und antrinkbar. (2020 -2040)

Que d'élégance et de subtilité dans ce bouquet ! Il affiche un côté crayeux ainsi que d'invitantes notes de châtaignes, de citrons confits et de fleurs. La subtilité et la finesse sont également omniprésentes en bouche. Le vin a du charme, de la précision et une structure qui porte idéalement le caractère aromatique jusqu'en finale. Un vin qui sait parfaitement concilier le présent et l'avenir.

The 2018 Doisy-Daëne has a superb bouquet with detailed acacia honey, quince and orange pith aromas that soar from the glass. The palate is well balanced with fine definition, poised and focused with impressive mineralité towards the finish that sports a welcome bitter aftertaste. Superb.

Le nez n'est pas encore tout à fait en place. La bouche se laisse davantage lire : très beau volume, liqueur généreuse et équilibrée et finale avec beaucoup de relief.
