I initially worried that La Dame de Couhins might struggle in this hot vintage, but its refreshing acidity quickly put my concerns to rest. While the 100% Sauvignon Blanc has lost some of its usual sharpness due to the heat, its jelly-like texture still conveys the taut minerality of limestone. Unlike the crisp citrus aromas of previous vintages, the 2022 vintage presents a sweeter bouquet of oil peaches, banana pears, and acacia honey.
