Clinet - Pomerol 2019
About Clinet 2019
A level of quality (once again) at the highest level, and unanimously praised. A remarkable wine, in the true spirit of the house of Clinet.
Beyond quality, a style, originating from a terroir of ancient gravels and deep clay, from a blen of historical varieties (Merlot et Cabernet Sauvignon), and a temperate climate. A velvety texture, rich and complec, dominated by seductive fruit, with depth and drive. The wine will age extremely well, while being approachable even in its early years.
A long and prestigious history, with more than 500 years of vine cultivation.
A series of vintages ending in "9", to which 2019 should now be added.
A property owned and managed by a family and couple : Monique et Ronan Laborde (Président de l'UGCB).
A rising prestige. Within the artisan and somewhat confidential Pomerol appellation, Clinet is contemporary and dyanamic.
A human size property, with a production limited to 4,000 cases.
95% of the production sold en primeur every year.
Last, the price. Not only is 2019, by far, the most attractively priced vintage among the great vintages of the estate, which has a true track record of appreciating in value over time.
