Super-ripe dark cherries meld into sweet flowers and spices in the 2014 Dassault. This open-knit, racy St.-Emilion should drink well pretty much right out of the gate. The style is forward, ripe and fruit-driven, but with good underlying support. Violets, licorice and crème de cassis add the final shades of nuance.

A light breakfast of black raspberry jam and espresso on the nose, this wine is soft, polished and already easy to drink. 89-91 Pts

The Château Dassault 2014 has a seductive, opulent bouquet with potent floral aromas that seem to envelop the senses. The palate is medium-bodied with quite sharp acidity on the entry. There is a slight hardness on the mid-palate that leaves the finish feeling a bit mean and at odds with the aromatics. I will reserve judgment for now.

A sensual wine filled with dark fruits, sweet spices and floral notes. The palate is sumptuous with velvety tannins and good intensity. Good potential for the wine to evolve and age well over the next decade or two.

Open, fragrant red and dark fruit notes. Palate supple and fruit-driven. Firm if slightly drying tannins. Hard finish. Drink: 2018-2026 (86)

Blackish crimson. Very plummy fruit and a hint of tarmacadam and some real energy on the nose. Luscious and full with some Pavie-like tough concentration on the end. A bit overdone but it is certainly ambitious! Fast fade.

A very deep and juicy young wine with beautiful density of fruit and ripe tannins. All there.

This has good stuffing, featuring dark plum and blackberry fruit melded with the cocoa and tobacco notes. Offers solid grip on the back end, with the cocoa hint
lingering. Shows more heft than purity, but remains solid.
