Chapuis, Corton Languettes - Corton Languettes Grand Cru 2022
Domaine Chapuis relies on 170 years of family tradition and is located at the foot of the Corton hill in Burgundy. Claire and her brother Pierre represent the 6th generation. Since 2018, they manage the estate alongside their parents, Maurice and Anne-Marie. The estate has been passed on from generation to generation since 1850. Everything started when Pierre Pavelot bought the first vineyard plot of one hectare plus 0.60 hectares of Charlemagne with his brother.
The vineyard spreads over 11 hectares in Côte de Beaune around the Corton hill, with 8 Village, Grands Crus and Premiers Crus appellations, both red and white.

Corton Les Languettes Grand Cru is an East-facing plot located on the hill. What makes this wine different is that it takes this climat name when it is planted with Pinot Noir and the name of Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru when planted with Chardonnay.
The Chapuis family is one of the two owners of this plot. Thus, this complex and refined wine is produced in very small quantities.
