The 2018 La Chapelle de Haut-Bages is a gorgeous second wine. Ample, creamy and so expressive. Black cherry, plum, licorice menthol and lavender open first, followed by pretty floral overtones that add lift through to the finish.

Beautiful and very refined for a second wine with berry, crushed-stone and almond aromas and flavors. It’s medium-bodied with finely integrated tannins and a long, flavorful finish. Shows focus and intensity. Polished. Drink after 2024.
