The palate is sweet on the entry with chewy tannin. There is part of me that thinks this is just a little overdone towards the finish, where I was seeking more tension and delineation. Maybe that will develop during barrel maturation? This is a good Lalande de Pomerol, but it just needs to temper its nascent enthusiasm.
